“I’m a storyteller, inspired to find the narrative in everything around me, whether words, music; the smallest of moments, or the most amazing sights we see…”
LORRAINE DEVON WILKE’S PHOTOGRAPHS capture a unique, imaginative focus, resulting in an eclectic range of images and galleries within her collection. Her work has been shown at the Los Angeles Center of Photography in Hollywood, CA; the Chung King Road Studio in LA’s Chinatown; Your Daily Photograph features via the Duncan Miller Gallery; at the Griffin Museum of Photography outside Boston, as well as displayed in a variety of office buildings, private businesses, and the hearths and walls of many a private residence.
Always one to co-mingle mediums, the cover art of both her first and second novels is designed with her photographs.
She enjoys select portrait work, has an exceptional eye for architectural and travel photography, and is perpetually adding to a “street photography” portfolio she hopes to fashion into a future show. A skilled photo restorer and retoucher, she often works with veteran photographers giving old film prints new life by way of digital technology, as well as private collectors looking to restore valuable and beloved vintage images.
