Short Synopsis:

Looking to calm the chaos of their lives, lifelong San Franciscans, Olivia and Mason Samaras, move to Kindred, CA, a quaint burg of twenty-one people, eager to reinvent themselves in a more peaceful setting. But what starts as idyllic takes a dark turn when her unexpected pregnancy appears to trigger a series of strange and terrifying events. When a stunning piece of town lore is ultimately revealed, that Kindred is purportedly burdened by a historical curse that mandates the town stay at “twenty-one citizens” —making their coming baby a threat—they’re left incredulous and vulnerable, forced to react, respond, and determine whether mystical forces are really at work, or the town is victim to the cultish power of inherited groupthink.
